| Headdress and headband including off-white scarf with three frayed edges approximately 45” x 70” with machine embroidery on the three sides with frayed edges. Headband includes three rows of hand-braided rayon chord of burgundy, black, off-white and taupe with four pairs of black, silver and copper 1” balls spaced about 4” apart with a center back tie closure. Old world style floor length robe made of natural colour woven linen with center front opening and armholes, trimmed with gold colour gimp and nine mult-coloured tassels tied to multi-coloured chord attached at robe shoulders trailing down back and front. Middle Eastern style hip length shirt made of different colured brown striped fabric with short standing collar, long sleeves, and faux inner shirt with machine embroidery on center front edge and around yoke, hand sewn bead buttons and loops on shirt and dickie, hem and shirt sleeves timed in brown fabric. Algerian style pants made of multi-coloured gold drapery fabric with a floral and Middle Eastern design with a fitted waistband, center back snap closure, pants cut very full and pleated to waist band and pleated to bottom cuff. Khaki-coloured linen under sash with a floral scroll design stitched onto fabric wrapping around waist with ends tucked under sash. Over sash made of brick red, black and green striped upholstery fabric with gold fringe at edges wrapping around body several times and ties to hold under sash in place. |
